This is a terrific toy that twirls around and around as it moves through the air. The two long feathers make this toy aerodynamic! It reminds our cats of sparrows. Their eyes become big and round, their teeth click and their tails swish with excitement and anticipation. As you swoop it around the room, the feathers spin and create an amazing "fluffing-vooming" sound. We couldn't think of anything else to call this unique sound. It's somewhere between a whoosh and a zoom. The 36" long steel wire makes it easy to keep the AirSpinner(tm) spinning and all the cats we've seen can't help watching and listening to it. They run, leap, bat and try to catch it in mid-air which keeps them in terrific shape. The natural brown, grey and white guinea feathers are approximately 6-8" long and come in your choice of accent turkey feather fluffs. Editor Lisa Hanks has three cats at her California home: Tyee, Calvin and Hobbes. None could resist the fluttering, swooping action of the feathers. "The AirSpinner is a fabulous toy with unbelievable action, just what my cats are looking for," Lisa said. "Calvin immediately began to leap after the airborne feathers, performing flips and 360s, one after the other."
