These ultra-lightweight hollow plastic balls come in our favorite "confetti" colors. They're 1.5" in diameter, just the right size for cats. RattleBouncers have grains of rice inside. The rice makes an exquisite, natural "chukka-chukka" sound that reminds us of little insects (reminds some of us of snakes). We prefer rice to the gravel found in many cat toys. Cats find the sound intriguing and a short swat sends the balls whizzing around the floor.

At night, our cat Abby collects all of the RattleBouncers, shoves them down the stairs and bats them into an alcove in the laundry room! How's that for neat housekeeping? One of our friends came up with the idea of placing her hyperactive kitten into a dry bathtub with a ball to chase. The ball can get whacked without rolling under the couch.
